Challenge:
As the largest independent Hallmark franchisee, Kirlin's
needed an efficient way to communicate with their customers inside the store.
Budget and ease of use were of prime importance.
Solution:
The AME-2020 system now plays a custom-designed music
blend along with announcements to drive Kirlin's identity and sales. Products and seasonal
specialty items are showcased using custom made announcements. The frequency and schedule of
announcements is tailored for each store and region. Music is also featured and sold using
the AME-2020. Selections from CD's sold in the stores are featured in the music blend,
backed up with quick announcements reminding the customer that the music she just
heard can be purchased in the store.
The system is also used to promote celebrity visits and
community events that are taking place at a given store. Because the AME-2020 permits
a totally customized program for each location, there is no cost or labor penalty to take
full advantage of special promotions.
